Allison Jordan
About
Allison Jordan understands leadership because she has lived it. With over a decade of experience as the award-winning Executive Director for Children First/Communities In Schools, she has navigated the complex challenges that nonprofit leaders face every day. Her work is grounded in the practical reality of running an organization, managing teams, and driving a mission forward. This hands-on experience is why she is so effective as a coach and facilitator; she provides leaders with the permission and tools to pause, reflect, and make strategic choices that lead to real-world results.
This practical approach is backed by deep community involvement and academic credentials, including a Master’s of Science in Community Leadership. Allison has served on numerous boards, such as NC Child and the Asheville City Schools Board of Education, giving her a 360-degree view of nonprofit governance and strategy. As a certified coach and experienced facilitator, she translates this wealth of experience into actionable guidance, helping leaders build resilient teams, foster strong board partnerships, and ultimately, amplify their organization's impact.
