Justin Bateh, PhD
Justin Bateh is an award-winning professor with 21 years of experience in business, education, and consulting. Currently a Florida State College in Jacksonville faculty member, he teaches operations, statistics, and strategic management courses. Justin has been recognized with 8 distinguished awards for excellence in teaching and instruction. He has published 2 books and 15+ papers in peer-reviewed journals and has been cited by other scholars over 600 times.
Justin was appointed Courtesy Research Professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Before becoming an academic practitioner, Justin spent twelve years in various management roles at InforMED, including Chief Operations Officer (COO), overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations to deliver medical education programs to over 800,000 physicians and healthcare workers nationwide and large entities such as the Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic.
Justin completed his undergraduate studies at the University of North Florida. He also received an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, an MS in operations management from the University of Arkansas, a doctorate in business administration (DBA) from Walden University, and a doctorate (Ph.D.) in operations management from the University of Sunderland. He completed a post-graduate specialization in applied statistics from Penn State University. Justin is also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (MBB), and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP®).
